Mona raced down the stairs with excitement singing, “I’m starving, and I have been waiting all day to sink my teeth into my leftovers. The restaurant reviews were spot on, which was surprising for an upstart.”
“It was pretty good, crispy too”, said Taylor.
“And to top it off, the hot honey dipping sauce paired well with the wings”, said, Quinn.
“Who ate my leftovers”, Mona said with a low guttural snarl.
“I didn’t” sang Taylor and Quinn in unison.
“Well, someone did. There are only three of us in this house and I didn’t. I’m growing tired of you all disrespecting my boundaries. The request was simple, DON’T EAT MY LEFTOVERS!”, she screamed while stomping off.
“I ate a couple of wings. They were too good to bypass.”
“I finished them off. The hot honey dipping sauce was even better today.”
“We take this to the grave”, they said.
